Job Description:

 

Head of Retail Products

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Senior Product Marketing manager to develop the strategy for the retail product offering for this leading financial services institution.

You will be responsible for:
  • Direct and maintain competitive products/service portfolios.
  • Overall responsibility for the customer product journey.
  • Strategic portfolio management - assessment and action.
  • Develop enhanced value propositions for existing products.
  • Management of the existing product set including margin protection, back book management.
  • Ensure all products (current and new) are driven by customer insight, market and competitor intelligence, by working closely with the research and insights team.
  • Deliver new products through close collaboration with the new product development team.
  • Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the product range is communicated effectively to customers through close collaboration with the marketing communications team.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Market Planning to deliver an annual marketing plan.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Communication Services to ensure that the overall reputation is closely aligned with the brand positioning and corporate communications.
  • People management of a team of 6 product and senior product managers.

  • A professional marketer with a minimum of 10 years experience within a marketing function in the financial services industry.
  • Excellent track record for meeting objectives within deadlines and budget.
  • A self-starter with flexibility and the drive to go the extra mile.
  • Strong strategic and customer focus with a clear understanding of the wider issues impacting the financial services industry.
  • Evidence of well developed leadership skills.
