User Experience Manager

A well established Irish company in the telecommunications space has expanded rapidly and is now a global organisation with an impressive client list. They are looking to design a user friendly and efficient front end to their product suite which will be used broadly by finance, billing and marketing within their telecommunications clients. This is a stand alone role where you will be designing the user interface from scratch and working to develop the usability of the product suite.

Role responsibilities:

• Work closely with a variety of areas of the business including marketing, client services and engineering to gain a complete understanding of the current offering and what areas need improvement.
• Speak to clients to understand their needs and design consistent and usable interfaces with their requirements fully met.
• Create mock ups and functional prototypes for your designs and test these thoroughly.
• Produce detailed written specifications for the engineering team so they can produce an interface that matches your design.

Skills required:

• Online portfolio containing your work.
• Strong design skills and experience writing UI/functional specifications.
• Proven track record of delivering interface designs.
