Microchem Laboratories is Ireland’s leading independent test and research laboratory, providing microbiological, chemical and environmental analysis to the food, pharmaceutical, medical device and chemical industries throughout Ireland and Europe.

Established in 1986, the company employs over 100 people across a range of disciplines in its fully equipped laboratories in Dungarvan, County Waterford. 

All technical staff have 3rd level qualifications in relevant subjects and more than 80% hold degrees. Microchem Laboratories' commitment to employing suitably qualified and capable people is a reflection of its dedication to the quality assurance its clients expect. 

In 2007 Microchem was acquired by the US based company, Lancaster Laboratories, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc.
