Key Points to Consider:
1. Have a look at your core skillset and see what sub-sectors of the industry your skills would suit/strong>>/>
2. Retrain, go back to College or study online to beef up your knowledge and skills
3. You may have to consider relocation to an area where there is a factory that will require the type of skills you have
4. Useful to have an understanding of regulatory environment you will work in
5. Do some research, talk to people in the industry
6. A job for life? It's a relatively stable industry, with some growth in terms of employment and job opportunities
7. May take 12-18 months to make the shift into the industry.
