According to Shanahan, there is a huge demand in Ireland for entry to mid level java developers.

"Java is widely used in the banking and telecommunications sectors. Our clients are looking for mid-level java developers with one to four years experience, ideally working in a software product company or R&D, with experience of working in the Irish marketplace."
