Call centre firm Rigneydolphin has announced a new contract for cable and broadband sales.

Waterford-based call centre firm Rigneydolphim has announced a new contract for cable and broadband sales, creating another 45 jobs.

The deal with UPC, which is the parent company of Chorus ntl, is worth €2m and will bring the total number employed at the company to 1,100.

"Today is another success story for Waterford through the creation of jobs...and the commitment of Rigneydolphin and UPC Ireland in establishing this partnership," said Arts Minister Martin Cullen.
