A call centre in Co Cork is set to announce plans to create 250 new jobs in the coming years.

Abtran is planning to create the jobs at a new innovation centre at its Bishopstown facility.

The company, which carries out sales, customer service, administration, claims and financial management processing, already employs 600 people in the area.

Abtran intends to have all 250 graduate-level positions filled by the end of next year and recruitment has already commenced.
